 Todoroki waterfall .....

In 1804, King Shoko built a summer hall here, and it became known as a place where he toured. Because it was built in Michija Plain, it was called "Michija Palace." According to the "Uesugi Kenrei Junkai Nikki," the former lord of Tohoku Yonezawa Domain, Uesugi Shigenori (later the governor of Okinawa Prefecture), visited this place in 1881.

Todoroki Falls is known as one of Okinawa's most famous scenic spots. Since ancient times, the falls have been visited by countless people, and up until the 1960s, it was bustling with tourists and school trip students.

Located 1.3 km from the mouth of the Sukuta River, the waterfall is approximately 30 m high, has a basin 6 m wide and a depth of 1.5 m.

The river originating from Mount Kushi and Mount Henoko flows into Todoroki Falls.
